There is nothing on earth more wonderful than spending time with furry friends, and one pub in Bristol has latched onto that concept in spectacular style.

The Bag O' Nails owns over a dozen kittens and cats, who really do roam freely and make the best use of the space.

Lot's of cute pictures on the article:

Sounds cute but what it's really doing is putting a bunch of cats in with a load of drunk strangers :( there's a pub down here that has a couple of cats and a dog and they're always getting mauled by customers not even out of malice just because drunk people like to touch things

dogs are allowed in one of my locals, and tails usually get stepped on.

Tbh a pub is no place for some lil kitty cats :(

Like it's a cute idea..for a coffee shop

My local has a black and white called Guinness(original, eh?), but he loves a fuss. No one gets overly drunk so he's never mauled or what not.

Don't a lot of Japanese restaurants and cafes and stuff make this the norm anyway? Pubs are filled with giant men with steel toe-capped boots and rowdy football fans and ceiling fans and shit like that. Very scary for a baby Calico.

Cats are always good to have around to get rid of vermin. In a lot of holiday destinations they encourage cats to roam.
