If you’re living in the UK (or some parts of Ireland), you’ve probably fallen victim to the 70mph gusts of winds due to Storm Clodagh making its arrival from the Atlantic, according to the Met Office. The storm is supposed to be most severe in western coastal areas, while winds in inland parts of the United Kingdom still have the potential to reach up to 60mph, particularly up in the north of England.

i hate how the met office have given names to storms and stuff now it's so embarrassing

yes! all day, none stop rain and wind it's terrible :( this kind of weather always scares me

idk why they've started naming storms they're not nameworthy although to be fair the names they've picked are suitably shit
