What is usually the most depressing time of the year for you?

As you may know I despise winter and right now is always the most depressing time of the year for me. This year it hasn't been as bad as it was when I was in university but i've lost a lot of interest in my hobbies and all I want to do right now is climb into bed and sleep until April. Obv i can't do that so i just climb into bed and take very long naps. a lot of dark thoughts come with dark weather.

so what about you? what's your most depressing time of the year

January probably.. After Christmas and New Year.. Always dark as I'm working when the sun's out and it's cold/wet.

May time tends to be my personal worst, give or take a fortnight. Alongside the obvious assessment times which actually don't bother me too much, shit just seems to like to happen around that time.

October, January & February are the most depressing for me since I lost both my grandma and aunt in those months :/

I don't really have one particular time of the year, just whenever my brain decides to misbehave

january - about april is my fave because I actually have lots of motivation to go the gym

so I guess it then gets depressing up until summer

when the dark nights come in, I just get really tired. Honestly I hate them!! I's not really month wise but depending on the weather. Hate the cold and rain.

december is historically my worst month so i generally don't like it because i just get reminded of certain events that happened for me in previous decembers

I don't really have one now that I live in Australia. I know the transition from Summer to Winter in the UK was pretty depressing.

For those who don't like January you can spice it up by buying me birthday presents. Always looking to help the community!

September for me! I get really upset that summer is going but it's still a long time for Christmas. Also, as others have said, probably (definitely tbh) historically worst for me as well.

Summer. I hate the the heat and long days - I've always been a person that enjoys cold nights and dark nights

The period just before my student loan comes in. The struggle to cope is so real

LITERALLY.

also i agree with dan, the winter and with the darkness coming all i want to do is sleep. i've been busy the past few days and i'm going to just try occupy myself by wasting away online for the entire day and get out and do things. got a job for over christmas so i'm feeling GOOD right now, wonder how long this will last

I usually get a little depressed around the end of August, just trying to adjust to a new schedule, knowing I won't have a lot of free time and my time in the sun has come to an end.
