OK, so i am trying to upgrade a game on my iPad, but when it asks for my Apple ID password and I put it in, it comes up saying 'Cannot connect to iTunes Store'

Is there a way to fix this?

The device connected to WiFi, can you load the internet fine?
Rebooted the device to see if that works?
Checked the Apple status page to see if there is any current problems with iTunes at the moment?

Yeah, it's connected to wifi, internet works fine.
I've reboot it and signed in and out, still no look

Have you have to authorise the iPad to your devices list?
