Do you have any weird habits like OCD stuff?

One thing I always have to do is cover corners like on the fireplace because it hurts my eyes looking at them if i'm focused on like the TV/PS2.

How about you

Even numbers. TV volume or the radio in the car has to be an even number, or a 5. Any odd numbers will not do, same with my heaters in the car has to be an even number
Setting my alarms before going to sleep takes about 10 minutes as I need to check them over and over to make sure they're set. Even when I'm satisfied that all 5 alarms on my phone are set I need to put it on screensaver to check that it shows right and that the first alarm is set. Then my alarm clock gets checked multiple times even though it never gets changed!

When pens are pushed up or have no lids on I usually have to put them on. When a manager at work gives me something to sign I always push the clicker for the pen nib to go back down before giving it to them.

Every time a thread like this comes up it reminds me of even numbers so thank you pasta; and snr;.

In the dishwasher, forks and spoons go on the left and knives go on the right. If anyone has put them in wrong ahead of me I will always change them round.

Whenever I see a digital clock I add up the numbers (so 09:59 would be 0 + 9 + 5 + 9 = 23) and I like it when they add up to a number ending in 5 or 0. If they don't then I'll wait for the clock until the numbers add up to 5 or 0 even if that means hanging round for no reason for four minutes :(
It got so bad I had to change my alarm clock from digital to analogue because I kept myself awake for literally hours at night adding up the numbers all the time.

I'm weird but I don't have OCD ok :'(

Oh another one I have is that when I'm reading a physical book, when I see a long word I'll count how many characters are in it... 3 times. First I'll count the first 4 letters as '4' then count every individual letter after that as 1, so I'd go 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 etc. the second time I count in groups of 4 letters of the same word so 4, 8, 12, 14 (if it doesn't go perfectly into 4). Finally, I'll then count each letter individually so 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc. it all started in around year 9 when one of my friends said they had to look up this certain 15 letter word for their class, then from then on I started counting longer words and eventually found a random 15 lettered one. Yes, I'm weird.

i'm the same with the tv volume ending in 5 or 0, there is no in between! also in my downstairs hall there's 3 switches, two operate the hall light (both at opposite ends) one is on its own and one operates the upstairs light. they both have to be facing the same way when they're off / on, same with the two upstairs which turn on and off the bathroom and upstairs hall one. sometimes i'll be running up and down to ensure they're all facing the same way because it really drives me mad if they're flicked alternate ways yet all lights are off

prob more of a habit than OCD

I hate all even numbers for some reason, I prefer things to be an odd number (or even with a 0 at the end) -- which is different as most people prefer even numbers.

Anything volume related has to be on numbers in the 5 times tables otherwise it bugs me.
I am very OCD with my nails, they all have to be the same lengths and shaped the same.
I get annoyed with people leave cupboards open and things aren't straight or have their own places.
The are loads that I can't think of tbh :)

i'll be honest and say i don't really know what ocd is so this might not be it, but i'm constantly checking certain things out of fear of something happening. for example:

car/house doors/windows to make sure they're locked
house lights/sockets gotta be turned off unless they're being used. i sometimes wake up and panic in case my parents have gone to bed and left things plugged in so i go down to check because i won't settle until i do
books/dvds/cds/games are all in alphabetical order. i sit by my pc and look up to my shelf to check if they're still in the right order in case i've made a mistake somewhere or someone's been here to put one back and put it in the wrong place.
constantly checking my phone. not for texts/missed calls and stuff, but to make sure that it's not on silent and that the volume is on 50%. sometimes i'll get my phone out mid-conversation, which looks really rude, just to make sure it's still on loud.
similarly to above, i'm constantly checking my alarms to make sure they're set at the right time, check that they're on and that they're set for the right days. i'll usually check a few times before going to sleep and multiple times again if i wake up during the night.

idk i'm always worried about things because i have anxiety so i don't think much of this because i've been like this since i remember. :P

How interesting. I think I'd call double checking that I've locked my doors not wanting to get burgled, not OCD :S It's sensible just to make sure.

When I am doing anything with my money in terms of transferring savings, the savings account has to be a full number ending in 0s. Cant stand seeing $487.43, it has to be $500.

I remembered another one last night! Basically in bed I have a fleece that goes over me, but the label on it (the one with all the washing instructions and everyone on) must go to the bottom right side of me, near my right foot - it can't be in any other place even if it means the design on it is upside down or back to front.
