Do any medical conditions or diseases really interest you? Maybe a family member, yourself or a friend has had/has it and that's why or maybe just generally you find yourself reading about them.
I'm pretty interested in two serious diseases and always find myself reading/watching things on them, HIV/AIDS and Necrotizing Fasciitis. There's something morbidly interesting and terrifying about them because they're pretty much unstoppable (well HIV was in the 1980s but less so now). It was only the other day reading up on HIV/Aids in the 1980s I ended up watching this great film called "And the Band Played On" which i've seen before and you can find on YouTube which shows the first spread on HIV back then. Pretty scary stuff especially the way it sort of hijacks other cells in the body.
Necrotizing Fasciitis by the way is a rotting of the lower layers of skin that can only be halted by amputations/skin removal.
How about you?
