it's a simple question what is the most like known building to people who don't live where you do

Probably the Old College on the seafront:

Well I live in Cambridge so we've got a lot of famous landmarks in our city.
King's College

Mathematical Bridge

Corpus Christi Clock (always just called it the grasshopper clock tho)

And a load more. Maybe the marketplace which is a bloody nightmare to get across because of all the tourists.
Inseriousity.

Manchester Arndale and the surrounding area:
Even though it's modern, this area changed quite drastically and was modernised after the IRA Bombing in Manchester and looks a lot better than it used to do.

@xxMATTGxx (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=1020); I'd say the town hall for Manchester, known as one of the best examples of Victorian Gothic in the country.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6a/Liverpool_Townhall_%287684898060%29.jpg/1024px-Liverpool_Townhall_%287684898060%29.jpg
And Liverpool's town hall is one of the best examples of the earlier Georgian architecture. Thank God they both survived the 1960s town planners.

We don't really have any stand out buildings, but the most iconic thing is probably the murals we have in the town:

In the town next to me (where I work) they are:
The Haribo Factory:

Caernarfon Castle
like can't think of anything else
http://www.castlexplorer.co.uk/wales/caernarfon/caernarfon1.jpg
in my actual village, although not a building, it's probably the Dorothea Quarry. although if you don't live around here then chances are you wouldn't have heard of it anyway. most dominant slate quarry in nantlle valley until world war 2, but it's flooded now and people just go there to scuba dive lmao

The Haribo Factory is closing down as far as I know so it'll be weird not having the big sign as you go up to town there or anything! They built a bigger, better, new one in the adjoining town so they've created more jobs there! I wonder what will become of the old building though.

It's already built, it's in Castleford - you see it on your way to Leeds (I saw it on the way back from the Royal Armouries after our work's Christmas party). It does look a lot bigger and much more modern if that makes sense - goes for the more sophisticated look than the Pontefract one with the Haribo kid and everything on.

Probably Elizabeth Quay which has just been opened - named after the Queen - and also includes the bell tower which has been there for agess.

yeah it's in Perth. I'm not to sure what has and hasn't been built yet. A large majority of those apartments/skyscrapers haven't even began construction yet, probably won't until like 2019 knowing Perth. They'll be behind schedule and over budget!

Milton Chantry. Built in 1322 and is a former leper hospital. We have other famous landmarks, such as a statue commemorating the death place of Pocahontas.
