ok so i just seen an article where a headteacher asked for parents to stop dropping their school kids off whilst still in their pyjamas and
i kind of agree? every time i see people in pyjamas at asda i think it looks so gross and lazy!

i can MAYBE understand if you're hungover/ill as shit and only going to a local shop, or, like a lady in our area, sitting in your backyard/door step having a smoke but i personally wouldn't do it!!!

would u? what do u think of people doing it?

!:random!:!

I don't wear pyjamas so I think if I went out in what I wear to bed it might cause a bit of a stir

I never see anyone in pjs round here but tbh I would never do it myself! What I normally do is throw on a tracksuit bottoms and a jumper so I'm in actual clothes, but I wouldn't be out and about in them only ever like that if I have to open door to post man or I have to drop Jake off on the morning for work

I have pj bottoms/ 'lounge pants' that I wear in the evenings sometimes, I'll happily go to the campus shop or library or whatever in them with a long coat, I didn't realise it was such an epidemic.

I do it all the time lmao. Actually first time I met Intersocial; I was in Cardiff with a friend and I left the hotel in my nighty and a pair of leggings just to go say hi to him. Although it was late and I was too lazy to get changed for like 30 mins. I go to the shops and stuff in my pyjamas too lmao, oh well.

I wouldn't do it myself (too cold!), but I don't see anything wrong with it.

I don't even wear pjs and tend to sleep naked or in shorts so it would take more effort to put pjs to go out but I wouldn't go out in them and never see people out in them either only people who live next door. I even feel embarrassed if I was seen in pjs just
going outside to the bin

I've seen a few students walking around in onesies and a few hungover people in the supermarket wearing PJ bottoms and a pair of fuggs but nothing more than that.

Personally I don't really wear traditional "pajamas", I usually wear shorts and one of my New Look cotton tops which I would also wear in the day (usually not the same night as I'm sleeping in it but ngl I have done that a few times). Anything that's obviously pajama-y - like onesies or my actual checked PJ bottoms which I use for loungewear - I wouldn't wear out though. One time I wore hollister 'sweatpants' to Morrisons and almost died of embarassment cos I felt so lazy :(

I done it when I was like 15, saying that I went to Mcdonalds drive through in them with my mum the other day but I never got out the car. Don't see why I should make an effort because I'm only sitting there. I had my coat over them though. Personally I wouldn't go to a shop or anything in them now I'd just quickly change into some old jeans and top if anything

I saw the article too.
It is mega weird that people do it. Around by my parents house it's so common
I couldn't do it personally. I hate opening the door for the postman in my pyjamas

Uhh I've left the house in my pjs to put the bin out and things but I don't really think that counts as I never leave the drive. And I'm really embarrassed anyway so I sneak a look round the side to make sure no one's there before I go and then run out really fast and run back again.

The only place I've worn my pyjamas outside of my house in the past few years (not including holidays obv) is A&E and that's because I broke my toes and changing my bottom half would have been a very bad idea. But UGH being braless in A&E is a terrible feeling and would not recommend it to any other girl.

REMEMBER WHEN I HAD TO BE BRALESS IN AN EXAM1
yes I forgot I have been out in pyjamas and that was when I really screwed up and realised at 10:57 that I had an exam at 11:00!!!
I threw a hoody and jeans over my pyjamas so I guess you couldn't tell I was in my pyjamas. I didn't even have a bra on and I had random ass shoes on that weren't even mine.
So embarrassing

People come in Home Bargains all the time in their pyjamas to do their full shop, I would understand if they were just popping for a minute to buy something essential like milk or bread, but not get a trolley and be there for 1-2 hours. When that happens though it's usually travellers who do it, and they end up bringing their whole family in just wearing their nightwear.

I wear a nightgown for bed, if my mum needs me to go over to the shop quickly or just to the bin then I'll put some joggers on and go over no problem; I wear my coat as well, but the coat is so long that if I didn't wear joggers or anything it would just look like I was wearing nothing!

My cousin once got refused entry to Tesco at around 1am as she was in her pyjamas - it was a somewhat emergency and they had ran out of nappies and at the time my baby cousin wasn't that old and I just think it should be ok if it's just a quick thing though.

I've had to have an operation on my mouth/teeth before and had to wear a gown, going braless didn't really phase me, probably as I was going to sleep during it so it was just like a night time :P.
