are you a good host? do you like hosting? do you even host? dinner parties, bbqs etc.

i really like hosting so i always do it for my mates for predrinks. i like to make an effort and especially use the garden so i'll often do a bbq or have a fire on with drinks in the garden. i've been COMPLIMENTED on my hosting skills by friends so i must do a good job of it.

so yeah i think i'm pretty good and i like it. how about you?

Yeah I've always been a pretty good host. Because I used to be very shy and terrified of all social situations I'd prepare and prepare and prepare, make sure everyone was always having fun and would notice little things I probably wouldn't have if I wasn't so nervous. And now the fear has gone but I still notice things which is great.

I know when i was like 12-14 I would always be the one to host sleepovers because mine were LEGENDARY. And my friends never really understood why but it's because I went out and bought pringles and ingredients so we could make pizza and cookies (cookies never ever reached the oven tho rip), I'd get loads of films in and I'd clear our back room out so we could all put our sleeping bags down there. But yeah whenever someone else hosted a sleepover it wasn't as good because we'd just kind of turn up and then at like 8pm the host would be like oh I forget to get food. :/ unacceptable

No stay out of my house, I don't want mess.;
Just kidding, but in recent years I don't offer to do things at my (parents) house for reasons I won't go in to.

OH yes!! This was me too when I was younger! I would always get lots of nice food, sort out some movies, set up beds for peeps and have the night sorted for us all. My friends used to be so rubbish some times they WOULDNT EVEN GIVE BLANKETS??

I prefer to go to other peoples place, hosting is just effort (although it depends on what you're hosting I guess).

Never really had to do it, never had friends stay over or anything.
