So while I was hobbling around after some how hurting my knee diving at swimming...I was thinking of the weird ways ive injured myself...mainly my big toe.

First one was when I stood on a soup tin and cut my big toe....which then got infected. The same time I mandged
to break after jumping from the top of the stairs into the bathroom and slipping on the floor and twisting my toe.
thought it was fine at first...till it doubled in size and went purple....

so whats the weirdest way you've injured yourself?

I guess it would be when I was much, much younger I whacked my head on a toilet which left a scar.

warning for squeamish peeps
I've told this story before also in previous threads

knelt on a pair of curtains which were lying on the bed as we were decorating the spare room and there must have been a needle in them because i felt a sharp pain, but when i looked there was nothing but a teeny tiny drop of blood (which, in hindsight, meant there was a hole the size of a needle in my knee)
but it had gone completely in and there was nothing to see so I hobbled round on it for over 48 hours before my mum finally said FINE we'll take you to a&e and THEY can tell you to stop making such a fuss
so we went to a&e and I'd had a needle in my knee for two days scraping away at the bone in there and had to have a couple of operations to remove it and then fix the damage it had been doing

I have a scar in my eyebrow/where my eyebrow is from falling into the fire guard when I was younger.

The other is probably the big toe on my right foot - I've managed to drop a box of laundry baskets, tins of cat food, cans of Pepsi Max and run over it with a cage at work and drop the bottom of a cage on it and it hasn't broke, although when I run it over it was with a full cage of compost and it messed my toes up for months.

I don't think I have one rip

I guess when this guy lobbed a wooden stool at me and it landed on the joint of my big toe, and cos the school nurse is an uneducated plank I got no help at all xD I ended up not being able to bend it for two years til I got fed up and forcefully bent it everyday til I could move it again
