Hi everyone!

Thanks to everyone who took part, it was a bit messy getting it together and having people sign up but overall I think we all had a good time! Certainly got some ideas and feedback if we do it again in the future.

For anyone not in the know, at 8pm we all gathered in a room where I would announce the theme - somewhere you'd take someone on a date, at that point the teams would have one hour to build a room around that theme.

ANYWAY, now is the time to announce the results. Laura and myself judged the rooms based on their originality, structure, relation to theme and execution. We both gave each room a rating between 1 and 10. You can see the rooms, scores and feedback below.

The winner/s of our live event who bag 50c and 1 month of Valentine's VIP is...

Mrs_Plant + thms!

Congratulations! You've both bagged yourselves 50c and a months VIP!

So, let's see the rooms and what Laura and myself had to say...

Laura score: 8

Pleb: Love this room, uses it's space really well and has a good mixture of simplicity and extavagence with the construction, big fan of the stacking of venetian dividers.

Laura: nice vision of a pairisan street but looks a bit of a mishmash of a lot of furni.

Pleb: Brilliant idea, and one that I wish you had more time to pull off. The mountain looks amazing.

Laura: I like the creativity of the mountain and treehouse and zipline but the seats look out of place on grass!

Pleb: You did a great job considering your resources claire, I think the huts looks slightly out of place with everything else being made of ice, an igloo would have been really cool instead! I do love you sticking with your theme though and would be a great winter date spot.

Laura: nice to see something different - the snowy bit and the hut is cute, looks like ice bars, but the dragons, icm and the Wizards of Waverly Place ball look really out of place

Pleb: The pagoda in the middle is such a great construction for what little time you had, it works really well and I'm blown away by it. Sadly the only thing stopping this being 10/10 is lack of a room structure. Having furni or posters surrounding the wall would have been a great final touch.

Laura: really cute, furni works wel together and it looks really believable as a little isolated pagoda

Pleb: This suits the theme to a tee, big fan of the walkway through the forest and you've used the space really well. My main issue is it's quite a plain build, there aren't any clever stacking which is a shame. Still, it's simple and effective.

Laura: you've given us lots of potential date spots in one here and the mix of furni works really well. it's a lovely idea all together and a concept for an entire room rather than just one spot!

Pleb: Funny, original idea but again same issues with the one above, it's quite plain in it's construction. I like the contrast between the hospital and waiting rooms too.

Laura: who wants a ate in a hospital??? It doesn't SCREAM romantic but it's not awfully put together (original score: 4)

Laua edit: now I know it's a STI clinic (thanks alex ;lll) I think it's funny and makes more sense why there's a nicer waiting area than most hospitals also more sensible so IGNORE YOUR THEME RATING and blame alex for not giving me full deets ;/

Pleb: I think for a 20 minute job this is quite impressive! It has all the features you want and I do like the colour themes you were going for. Good effort.

Laura: I feel like you could have done with another hour to build! it's very simply and a bit confusing to look at but has potential as a love-themed diner or soething

(Laura hadn't been told you had to go one third through the build!)
