Stop being such a ***** and read my threads rather than giving some shitty sarcastic reply back.
As stated, VIP COMPETITIONS, competitions FOR VIPs

VIP competitions sounds like competitions to win VIP...
I don't remember a single competition just for VIP members being run in my time at Habbox?

It's not like I was the only one who mistook what you were talking about. If you'd have put 'VIP/Donator members only' then it would've been clearer. Not to mention I wasn't around when these competitions were run nor do I ever remember seeing competitions being run for VIP/Donator members only.
I'm not a mind reader so maybe you should calm down and perhaps be more specific in the future.

Not in my time so this must be at least 5 years ago, when the user base was much larger.
When you look at people who enter competitions, the majority are staff or VIPs anyway. I get regularly told that the amount of competitions and ways we've got for people to win is overwhelming at times so I don't see the point in adding extra?
I did an incentive recently for staff and I'm planning on doing a few more but actual competitions, well that's what the comps department (and mod at times) is for.

Matt isn't being sarcastic. A lot of us thought you meant competitions FOR
VIP or donator, your reaction was completely unwarranted and an extremely bad way to get what you want.

Its more exclusive when you do them kinds of competitions, I know im neither but it makes them feel like they got their moneys worth with donator / vip as well.
Bionic...

I think that the Competitions department does a lot itself with generating competition ideas and prizes for lets say 'standard users' and making additional competitions just for VIP Users would add to the expense of these competitions if ran under the competitions department. Therefore, I feel is something that would be more suited for VIP Users to host out of their own pocket. Aforementioned by laura, most competitions see VIP/Staff members enter anyway so there would be no use to this, and if a VIP thought they weren't getting their moneys worth by not having competitions held for them they should have read the description on what you get when purchasing VIP.
A possible trial period may deem useful in determining if it is suitable for the Competitions department to host this on a weekly or monthly basis instead of small competitions throughout the month as this could generate some figures to see if it is productive enough to keep running. However, I still stick true to that maybe it is best left to the VIP members to sort out and host their own competitions.
Inseriousity.

They were removed because they weren't very popular (same as staff ones). It was Mathew who suggested to scrap staff comps and let everyone enter the member comps instead and I agreed. Everyone just entered the normal comps anyway. This would've been late 2009-early 2010 though so you might've been around judging by your join date and never noticed (probably part of the problem really).
Not that I'd mind if they were brought back, just explaining where they vanished to lol.

Nah I didn't actually use the forum until late 2010, just signed up before! That does it explain it, thank you :)

Comps seems to be moving in the right direction as it is - numbers of entries higher each time I look, would make little sense to stop that progress and target niche groups instead.

niche = exclusive, specially for people donating to the site.

I do not see why not put it on a trial to see how it goes. :)
