I doubt it. I was a bit worried that these two will end up being like Black and White in that they're a bit crap because they were distracted by the 3DS coming out. So I was suspicious that this would have an equally poor storyline and questionable pokemon because they're focusing on Pokemon Go?

I'll buy the game whatever though tbh so they've got me hooked completely :(

Looks good, the characters look more people like which is cool. The starters look ok, pretty standard though.

Last pokemon game I played was diamond/pearl, these new ones don't really appeal to me with the 3d roaming etc. The starter pokemon look terrible too imo.

The starters and legendaries looked awful in that but the map and actual graphics looked soo much better! It was one of the best things about Pokemon X - I wonder if there'll be rollerskates again? That was a great addition before and made it so much easier moving about.

Hnnng not long now though. Not that I'll get it til it's come down in price a bit anyway.

Lol, my parents aren't millionaires. I just happen to get spoiled late in the year most of the time. I get good food, and basically anything I want. I just tend to very rarely ask for anything during the year. This is my first time getting the new Pokemon games early and I'm excited as hell. I wanted that steelbook case bundle so bad but Amazon sold out quickly. :'(

The demo version was way too short, but what I saw was absolutely spectacular. You can finally move in any direction you please. New region & Pokemon are great, and I like the concept of riding on Pokemon whenever you please, rather than use the feature at specific locations. The trial with capturing Pokemon is easy, but if you have difficulty with the camera function, you'll have a little trouble on the outside bit with the totem Pokemon outside the cave. Pikachu's Z Move is an instant OHKO on the Team Skull girl. After you've seen the preview, you can continue to play, and you can use Tauros to move around and break the rocks you couldn't before. Breaking the first rock will bring you to a Pokemon catching minigame, which rewards you with nuggets based on the number of Pokemon you caught in your session. These nuggets can be transferred to your full game, to sell for in-game cash. All in all, I love what I'm seeing so far. :D

You should get both IMO. If you buy the dual pack, you're getting 100 free poke balls for each game.

Moon has the better legendary though. Lunala regains HP every time it gets hit when it has full health. Add that to legendary stats - broken cover legend.

Neither, they're the same game with minor differences. The main difference you'll find is that moon is played at night and sun in the day, and of course only some pokemon are available on each version.

I think you'll be alright, somewhere is bound to have it and stock should be ok as that'll be a month after launch. Maybe you could try and reserve it a few days in advance just to be safe?

Yeah that's a good plan, I'll do that. Probably Argos will have it or something. Still toying with the idea of getting a 3ds but I really don't think he'd appreciate the difference between that and the 2ds, like he wouldn't notice or care.

Ikr omg the 3d is rubbish, it only works for me if you're looking at it dead on straight so if you're lying in bed with it it just goes all dodgy and gives a headache :(

That's the typical response you'd see from a genwunner. Great anime except the lacklustre DP series, and Gen 4 onwards have been dishing out the best games in the franchise.

On a more serious note, get Sun & Moon. You'll enjoy it, and it's challenging too. :)
