something i've noticed.
younger people tend to type using their thumbs on a phone but older people tend to use their index finger while holding the phone at the back. my friends say i use my touch phone like an OAP cos i text using index finger i can't get how people use their thumbs to type i've tried and its weird.
don't like touch stuff anyway prefer buttons #oldschool
what about you how do you type on these touch devices?

Now you mention it I've noticed I text with my thumbs whereas my boyfriend texts using his index finger. There's only a 5 year age gap (and you're around the same age as him I think), so it might just be your generation and above.

I'll use my thumb on my right hand so I keep my left hand free, unless I want to type quickly then I'll use both.

Yeah I use both my thumbs and notice that only older people use their fingers and look really silly imo;)

I use my thumbs. Before when i had a iPhone 4 i only used one, but after i got my iPhone 6 i use both because its too big for just one hand..
Its weird because my parents use their thumbs too, likewise with my boyfriend's parents. So I dont think its which generation you're from, I also thinks it depends how you "learned" to do it from the start.

I always use my thumbs but my mum uses one index finger. She's incredibly slow and makes typos all the time so it's SO FRUSTRATING to watch her do anything on her phone. I can't stand to look :@

I use my left hand since I'm so used to typing on a computer keyboard it comes natural.
My thumbs are way too big to type with, anyone have that problem or is it just me???
I double thumb it all the way. Haha

Two thumbs for all the kind of phone keys: Hardware QWERTY Keys, Software QWERTY Keys ABC DEF GHI JKL MNO PQRS TUV WXYZ Keys
Didn't get how the index finger works for typing, unless the phone is on a table or under an extra support! Image references, please - lol

I use my thumbs and hold the phone vertically. Can't do it horizontally because it obstructs how much I can see.

Both thumbs usually, unless the phone is lying on something then I'll use my index.
