Hey all!

So, I'm a bit worried here. On Friday the 26th I got an endoscopy to find out what was wrong with my stomach.... After the procedure everything was fine just of course a bit loopy and things went good.

Well obviously there's risk to every surgery/procedure, and so yesterday I started developing a pretty low grade fever, around 100.2 (37.8 C) and i've been having stomach cramps that have been worse than I would usually have. These would occur only after eating, and still only occur after eating. I'm also feeling a lot of palpitations and kinda light-headed in lack of better terms. Just don't feel physically right. Headache, shakiness, shortness of breath, etc., But I don't FEEL ill. I'm not all down-in-the-dumps feel like crud type of thing. I feel normal other than being very very tired which is quite normal for me.

I would go to my GP right away.... But here's the thing... I just got my period. It was 3 days late which is never normal for me. I'm afraid it was all just PMS and I really shouldn't worry. But with having the endoscopy, i'm really not for sure..

So.. What do you think? GP or just PMS and try and wait it out..? Can you get a fever during PMS? I really don't want to go to the GP unless I absolutely have to for different reasons.

Obviously I'm not a doctor so don't take my word for it but really I think it sounds like a common cold or a stomach bug. The risk of every surgery/procedure you mentioned is normally being put under anaesthetic, and I suppose there is a tiny possibility of infection or some other complication but I'd be surprised if it presented itself with such mild symptoms.

Maybe try taking painkillers and if you're not noticing any improvements in the next 3 days or if you're feeling considerably worse you should definitely seek professional advice. Hope you feel better soon Hannah :(

I'm not a doctor, but I will say go and talk to your doctor about it.. But maybe you have anxiety after all what happened. You're thinking too much about it will give you these symptoms you're coming with; headache, shakiness etc..
And talking about your period, it's normal it will be late when you are stressing out and thinking too much about things... I CAN be an alarm from your body who wants to take it easy and calm down..
(And I'm sorry if you're not thinking so much about it as I express, it's just what I would imagine I would have, and it's just make the things worse)
