Probably the nicest thing for me is when something unexpected happens (which is positive, of course not like a heart attack). Do well on an exam that you thought you did badly on; speak to someone who you didn't really expect to speak to at that point; get a gift you didn't really expect, things of that nature.

If we're talking something more tangible, then relaxing with a bit of TV tends to put me in a good mood these days, which is odd as I never really used to watch much TV without doing something else at the same time.
Oh, exercising can make me happy sometimes too.
