We all know Easter is partly famous for it's food, be it Easter eggs, hot cross buns and chocolate in general! But if you really think about it, Easter came about to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ; so how is it that chocolate eggs came from that? Anyone could just make a new product and say "This is a new easter tradition now".

For this competition, I would like you to tell me what you would replace Easter eggs with and why. Be creative as the most creative shall win!

I think Strawberries in Meringue nests


The strawberries are red and thus represent the blood of Christ and the sacrifice he made

The merringues are white, representing purity and grace, and the ghost that Jesus has now become



A lot healthier than chocolate!! Strawberries also have a lot of symbolism attached to them! "The strawberry is a berry that is attached to many positive things through symbolism and folklore. The flowers and berries togethersymbolize righteousness and spiritual merit in Christian art."

I would replace them with chocolate coated fruits because that they are delicious and divine - I don't get them often at all, so getting them on Easter would be a nice and special treat. I can just imagine the delicious fruits dipped in hot chocolate and dipped in maybe some crunched nuts too. ❤️
