View Full Version : habbox people irl
i dont really know how to explain this n have it make sense
so when you're talking to your real life friends/family have you ever mentioned a habbox person?
how do you say you know them like from habbox? school? party? whats your excuse
uno like if you're meeting a habboxer and your friend/family ask who you're meeting
so you're like ah just meeting gina! n they're like ah howd u meet? how would you respond
do you not mention habbox people ever and no one knows about anyone from habbox at all??
idk if that made sense for FOR EXAMPLE
my mum knows about sharon and knows that shes from habbo/x
my boyfriend knows about tommy tom rosie sharon
theres a pic of me and James; on my pinboard thing and when my friends ask who I say from primary school
i said Rozi; was my cousin as well when my friend came and met me whilst I was with her
(rozi said I was from rainbows to her dad its ok both as awf as eachother)
so yeah do you mention hx peeps to rl peeps?? if so who?? who to??? how do you say you know them??
sorry if ive worded this v badly

depends on the person
if i'm just mentioning a habbox person in a conversation i'll just be like 'oh this one time my friend tommy blah blah blah'
when i was sending christmas cards to habbox people i literally just told my mum they were habbox people and she was like ok dw
when i go meet lerdulo i tell my parents that i met her whilst queuing to see marina & the diamonds
when i met onirela i told my dad that she was a friend of a friend or someth like that
i don't think i ever had an excuse for meeting cerys i just went into manchester to meet my irl friend and met up with cerys and then saw my irl friend after

rainbows lmao! hm i had a habit of calling @FlyingJesus (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=24753); when drunk, i referred to him as my "gay friend from ____" :) dint tell my mum when i was meeting peeps from habbox, i went with my rl friend the first time (she was meeting up with other friends) so had an ~alibi~ 2nd time (newcastle) i just said i was out with uni friends. when i was meeting Scott i told my mum he was from a forum online that's it. didn't mention him to her until couple days before we met then a couple days later i told her i met him n we were now dating. i said i met him when with friends tho lmfaoo

If i mention anyone I just say "oh my friend gina/my friend lauren" and no one asks questions.
Or if I'm talking to my mum I say "oh this person who uses the same forum as me said this thing..."
I would never mention Habbox specifically though ever ever

If I ever talk about any of you I use your forum names and say "from Habboxforum.com where I am known as FlyingJesus, the same as my Habbo name" because I am proud to be 100% true Habbo
Jen's bloody voicemails I never had a clue what she was on about usually just about who her friends were giving handys to I think

I can pretty much go to my sister, boyfriend and mum and be like "Oh yeah Laura said this and that" and my sister and boyfriend know who I mean, and my mum will be is that the friend you met in London and I'm like yeah. My ex knew about lawrawrrr; too. It's really just 'friend' now the online part has dropped a lot. Like last year when Laura sent me a birthday card and present they were all interested then with the Christmas card my mum insisted on reading it and agreed with her and that!
I can talk to my sister about Cerys a lot as literally she has met her too, my boyfriend knows about her and how we met and I always say "Cerys said this and that to him, oh and then she did this blah blah." Always joke about Cerys; coming and stalking us too and he joins in and says should I hide somewhere when she's near?
I have a Habbo friend that I knew his brother irl first and I can mention him to my sister easily as we have accidentally met a few times too.
Most of my friends are Habbo/Habbox ones so I can say to my sister FlyingJesus; (yes she knows you by that name, as she played Habbo/came on Habbox before it's easier just to say Habbo names too) did this, broke this rule ;) etc.
I don't really have any problem with mentioning people, it's never really come up how I know them - my closest friend at work knows I have a friend who I met online called Laura and he knows I've played/play Habbo too.
yes my mum knows about Nick;
yes my mum knows about Nick;
does she know about my recent events

Ha Gina!! I forgot I said that!! That's actually a terrible cover wow.
I used to tell people that Tara wixard; was my second cousin from Ireland which I always got away with
I think my best friend knew that I knew Ryan RyRy ; through habbox but dunno what I told other people
When I started going out with Oli (please excuse me while I vom) I told my friends I just met him online sketchily I think but I told my mum that he was a friend of a friend and he lived on the other side of London

I'll tend to avoid mentioning Habbox people, but if I have to I will try and be as vague as possible like "my friend from uni" or "my friend I knew who was younger and moved away" or simply "my friend".

My dad still tells me that I was stupid to meet the only Habbo I've ever met which was NINE YEARS AGO GET OVER IT and it's not like it was just texting or whatev we'd "known" each other for like 3 years at the time and seen each other on cams and all sorts loads so I wasn't strolling into some paedo's den to make a fiver. Can't even blame it on him being old because he's used dating sites loadssssssssss to meet people, it's just a parent thing :P

Whenever I tell my friends I'm meeting someone I just say they're from online, but if it's my mum I'm telling I say they're from hxf because she knows about practically every one of you that I talk to xD
The only time I've lied to my parents about meeting someone online was when I was like 13 ish? Me and alex (xela2322 on here) were both at Blackpool pleasure beach at the same time so I told my dad I was gonna go meet someone from my school who was there at the same time coincidently yh
He clicked on that it was a lie when he met Alex's mum and found out they were from the Midlands haha
