Just been to see Bastille Day - really enjoyed it but can't help but feel that I really don't get on with Idris Elba. I know it's an unpopular opinion and loads of people love Idris, it's just a character you can never warm to. I mean he can be a good actor, but he seems to play the same role over and over again - he's essentially Luther in pretty much everything he's in. He's reckless, he's unhinged - even in the Jungle Book he sorta plays that character.
Despite Idris however, the writing on Bastille Day was quite impressive. Really enjoyed the storyline and the twists and turns. Definitely should check it out when you get a chance (if you like those sort of films). Robb Stark is also incredible too. Everyone loves a bit of Robb Stark.
