We're currently working on a new header for the articles department that will be used for making little Pixel Art tutorials (supporting every single Pixel Art style, from Habbo and beyond), an awesome idea for all the new-comers who not only love this art, isometry, philosophy... but they also want to make it by their own, even though they don't know how to start it all!

It gave us some insights! Why don't we make a simple sub-forum to support those who are able to make Pixel Art/Photography/Graphic Design (or maybe other areas as Room Design, Writing, Events) tutorials or even share credited tutorials from another person?!

It would be a cool way to promote the new Pixel art Articles, like when the Article Writers do create a thread to promote their articles in the respective forum! On the other hand, the Pixel Art articles perhaps would be helpful to promote the Forum
It would incentive the aspiring Pixel Artists to keep improving or start from the bottom!

Well, tell me if you guys love or hate it! New ideas are always welcome. Thanks \o

Didn't there used to be tutorials in various different forums but they were hardly used.

I seem to remember a graphics tutorial forum and a development one.

I've been wanting to make loads of tutorials on the main site as pages - a little like Laura's how-to idea a few months back but with exams it hasn't been a top priority atm!

I think having them on the site would be better as not many people know about the forum as much
who knows though

I've sent the old ones from the site onto Lucas now so he's got those to work with too :)

I also mentioned this to Lucas!! We could definitely look into doing both at least

The graphics one already exists here: https://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38
Specific thread that could be revamped and added to: https://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=739715

As they are dotted around the forum a lot, you could potentially have a page on Habbox that link to all the tutorials whether they be on the Forum, Site or Wiki. I know years back in Content Design I did some tutorials, and I would be open to do some more (the tutorials I made for them though are those that won't work for normal members, so new ones would be made).

I think that's sort of what Laura's idea was, I don't think you need a separate page for every single tutorial, one page linking to them might be more streamline.

I think it would be neater and easier to manage if it was kept on the site, perhaps with a link to it at the top of the forum on the bar with the wiki/events/comps links and all that. Draft tutorials and such (for anything, really) can always be posted as threads in the relevant section and then polished for the site at a later date if they're useful

Graphics tutorials have never been that popular, iirc back in the height of Habboxs popularity they were some of the least viewed pages. I wouldn't bother, you can Google how to do these things and it will probably be more informative than Habbox!

Oh yeah! Laura just told me about this \o
How was the "How-to" concept? is it only about pixel art or several subjects?
We'll make a similar thing with the Pixel Art articles: We expect to write tutorials so everyone in the main page could see it but, of course, with the articles format. But yeah, I love this idea of making a special page for tutorials at Habbox.com not only for pixel art but for everything that can be taught for people! Don't let it die, you'll have my support

My project at first was literally a hub for guides to do with EVERYTHING habbo - from graphics tutorials to wired tutorials to room building ETC ETC, but it got put on the back burners as noone really offered to help out or get involved :( I'd love to see it come to life though :) We can always publish as articles/forum threads and have the hub on the main site too!

That is literally one of the worst tutorials I've ever seen. I'm guessing this was made in like 2009??
