hi i wrote a guide on how to make a laughing alteration to a habbo face so pls check it out by clicking here (https://habbox.com/all-articles/pixel-perfect-habbo-laughing-expressions) :)

coincidentally it fits in well with the theme lucas set for the iconic design comp that you can enter by clicking here (https://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=835626)!!

if you have ideas on how to improve the guide or ideas for future ones pls let me know x

should add a normal sized image as well to show what the finished look would be like, instead of enlarged all the way through

also to go with these new tutorials you could do a couple about how to sample colours on the most common programs and things like basic shading of a habbo

in your next one you could show how to animate the laughing face you just did but that might be too far of a jump for people who have never done it before.

and if more people are encouraged to reply with their attempt like bolt did, you could give a few extra tips personally to help them out as well as some forum/site activity through comments

Cheers for the feedback David! I'm sure Sho will take it on board for future articles. I especially love the idea of encouraging people to post their attempts in exchange for feedback/advice etc. Like a little graphics school! :D

I think they're a really useful resource and a nice little introduction for people who have little to none experience! I also love the colour sampling idea too as I have no idea how to do that! :P

Mine was actually only a joke attempt (I did do a proper attempt too although it was all 1 pixel too high which Sho explained to me on skype!)

Yes and yes! We have to explore all the advantages of this new way to make pixel art tutorials and we'll find ways to make a solid format for the articles. Your feedback meant a lot man
