Plantar Fasciitis - lots of foot pain!!!

I've just been to the docs and got my thoughts confirmed on the diagnosis for my excruciatingly painful feet

Since I started commuting (and therefore walking more) my feet have just been killing me! It's not just from ill-fitting shoes though, it's a proper deep pain. I knew something wasn't right so Googled it but I had a doctors app already booked so decided to bring it up and she just confirmed it.

It's basically something wrong with the plantar fascii in your foot and she's given me some exercises to do which should hopefully help but i'm not convinced!

Has anyone else ever had this? It's really common although mostly in older or overweight people (neither of which I am) so I was wondering if you had any tips. I'm going to book to see a podiatrist soon I think and do these exercises but just ouch :(

I had it when I was 13 or something because my legs aren't the exact same length apparently. I did the exercises and they made it worse for a while but then it got better so yay.

Good luck tho I remember that and it was hideous

I've only ever had pain in my Achilles Tendon because I was flat footed. Got that fixed though.

Well ya know I have it too because I told you like !!!
It's extreme but luckily I only get it bad in my left foot. It sucks more because I have a very active job so by the end of the day it's just unreal pain that doesn't just fade after resting it for a while
I'm a big converse fan which doesn't help it at all but new gen converse have this insole which is really good for it well not really good but better
To try and help mine I do have a support, an insole (somewhere) then I have recently been looking online for some different supports because It's getting worse
They recommend getting a little ball and using that under your foot for exercises but my feet are way too ticklish for that

foot update because I know you all care so much:

they are less painful today on the heel but i also bought ibuprofen gel which is AMAZING i love it my feet feel NORMAL ish
