An adult colouring book is basically a normal colouring book that children use, but with more intricate and harder designs to colour in! I know a lot of you aren't technically 'adults' but does anyone have any?

We sell them at work for £1.99 which is pretty cheap for around 120 pages to colour, and I have 2 of them and a mini mandala one I got from The Works, and one my sister bought me for Christmas, but I've misplaced that one. I find them very relaxing and originally I didn't see the point in them, but some of them look really nice when they're finished!

What are your views on them and would you ever be tempted to buy any?

I have two and a calendar (so I have a new one every day)!
It sounds stupid, but it's really relaxing just to sit down and colour in, only focusing on the drawing.
After a stressfull day it's the perfect thing to do.

I've got one, but I haven't done anything on it for ages. They're quite relaxing if you can find time to do it. :P

It's better and more relaxing to paint our own drawings

A friend of mine is obsessed with them. She uses it to relax and keeps trying to get me to buy one... I would if I had the time and patience to colour.

Yeah my boyfriend loves Batman so I suggested buying the Batman one they have, but he doesn't have the patience to do it either! I don't want to have a lot of them, but I have hinted that I'm fine with people buying me the colouring books for my birthday, just not colouring pencils as I have far too many.

I used to do buildings ones (adult) when I was like 12. Used to draw my own town plans when I was like 10 and younger too haha.

Now I read planning permission applications... :P

According to Amazon they actually do ;).

You might enjoy the app Colorfy or whatever it's called, you only need to tap a place and it'll colour it in whatever colour you pick - some of them even pick the colour for you. I don't like those ones though, takes the fun out of it a bit.

Just adding to this, I have now gained 2 more adult colouring books, one was on sale and it was my birthday so my boyfriend said "Anything you want, I'll get it." so I got another one! He also bought me a funny one for my birthday where you get to colour in swear words, even though I don't swear really, I thought it was hilarious - apparently it was that or a Harry Potter one, I prefer the one he got me as I'm not overly into Harry Potter.

Yeah, I've had one since Christmas and haven't even finished a page yet. I end up getting bored and giving up :( I think I need a less complicated one lol :')
