How do you feel about your work colleagues?

Is there any problems between your team? If so what/why?

I actually started with my new job approx. 2 1/2 months ago. I only have five people I deal with, and they are so nice and helpful.
There hasn't been drama yet but the way our offices are layout, mine looks like the secretary's office, so it's kind of annoying...

Similarly, I work in a smallish office and I get on really well with all my colleagues.

I dislike 75% of the people I work with.

Why?

Is it just due to them being younger/not really taking the job serious? (iirc you work in a supermarket so I'd imagine mostly young staff)

So first job at Sainsburys on checkout, didn't know anyone cos you cant exactly talk to others while on checkout, so no opinion!

Second job at Mcds I hated the majority of the people there, there was only 2 people i genuinely liked and talked to frequently

Third and final job in the clothing dept at Sainsburys again, loved everyone there apart from one girl.

It's funny cos you'd expect me to enjoy mcds more cos everyone's more or less my age but honestly I loved working in the clothing dept more, the staff were all much much older (30's-50's) with the exception of one girl who was 2 years older than me who i disliked. idk I guess working with older people suits me more as I enjoy just getting the job done and going home rather than pissing around

Why did you dislike the one girl?

Why did you dislike the one girl?

She was one of them who was buddies with the dept manager and so could sit around in the stock room all day doing absolutely nothing and being a cow about it. Like she thought she was better than everyone else and spoke down to me, can't stand people like that

Oh fair enough, yeah Jen had someone like that in her old job.

Think I lucked out with decent colleagues :P

yah my last job i got my hours cut as this other girl wanted to do mon-fri and no weekends and he let her lol

at my new job yea... commented negatively on my weight and breasts & a colleagues hair? just very very negative about having to do her job and talks down on the people we work with (learning disabilities) and would refuse to do certain shifts/work with certain clients so she got to sit in office drinking coffee everyday whilst rest of us got no admin time for weeks! ugh can't stand her. she also made my colleague a cup of coffee and my colleague p immediately started being sick and having heart palpitations... evil tbh.

It's actually the older generation I dislike most on my department. They're just rude people in general, who don't even know what manners are.
The rest of them are just a bit douchey and like to create drama over nothing.

All the people are work with are like family. I'm the youngest in my whole office and everyone is always super nice.
