New official fansites

Successful fansite applications are announced today!!

I think the list will be the standard 6 or 7 they are at the moment with maybe a few new sites too

I know CraveHabbo, HabboBites, MadHabbo and I think I saw create habbo (despite not having a running site yet) were all applying...

Someone alert me when they're announced!!!

Habbo-Happy is a Spanish fansite I'm sure because I use them sometimes as a resource site for news.

Habbo Holiday has a cool maze, I completed it a while ago.

Yeah we get to go to meetings with Habbo staff, get previews of new ranges and events, some badges on the hotel, organise official events and get things featured on the navigator (new thing that I don't think anyone's done yet haha)

oh thats pretty sweet, nice to see them doing things for fansites finally.

although the real thing we need is the fansite drop-in, that place was the best.

Most of those things have been in place for a few years now :p

There is a fansite lounge but it doesn't link to rooms ATM :( it was planned to but for some reason that didn't go ahead??

i would leave hxhd if the fansite drop-in came to be a thing. fansite lounge pah the original was better, constantly had fansite owners in there who were organizing events in there, causing beef between other sites it was healthy for the most part and brought a lot of communities that separeted from eachother together. nowadays each fansite hangs out in its own event room and shuns everybody else.

i am an old habbo i do not learn new tricks.

Yeah the problem is the way people use Habbo has changed so it's not always possible to revive old ideas :( we do have some kind of say in fansite events - the awful fansite face off thing was my idea that we discussed in a meeting (the idea was good it just wasn't executed well) - to bring more things like that to the table!!

what do you mean, fansite drop-in was just a social area for all fansites to use it was brilliant! literaly wouldnt have known half of the fansites i knew back then if not for that place, plus you find out the owners are nice and its a good place for recruiting too

i even saw shockwave walk in there and sit for a couple of days, if thats not an endorsement...

I'm suspect to say that HabboBites is an emerging fansite but it has a good structure and at least 10% of the members are ambassadors if I'm not mistaken, it's a good place to stay
It's predominantly Asian so when we are sleeping they start to create their events. I would love to join a single game of them but it usually happens at 5AM (Brazil)

Yeah there's a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge number of Malay/Filipino users on these days, any time you host an event in the daytime UK it's full of them and they're so bouncy and excitable it's cute. Definitely an untapped market for us tbh
