Do you run your fingers through your hair? Do you use this as an option instead of a brush some days?

I have a habit that I need to make sure my faux hawk is up right and haven't moved around or what not so I feel like my hands are always running through my hair. I'm too cheap to buy really strong gel.

I don't have much hair to run them through, so I do it 0 times.

Quite a bit when I get my hair cut and then more frequently the longer it gets mostly to stop it from looking absolutely disgusting.

I have really long hair so it has become an addiction or me or a "stress cope mech." I have a lot and it's fairly thick so sometimes it gets tangled and i'm paranoid about having knots in my hair.

I do it so much people notice and say something.

As for the replacement, totally. I don't get knots very often. But I always brush it out at the end of the day and before I put it up when I get out of the shower. I have the type of hair that if you brush through it, it either looks amazing or it looks like you just went for a spin in the washing machine tbh. Or it loses all it's curl.
