iphone 6s or samsung galaxy s7

Looking at getting a new phone and it's a toss up between the iphone 6s or samsung galaxy s7 either s7 or edge, depending what people think.

Most interested in reliability, battery life and just personal opinions basically :)

They're both powerful phones but it depends what you want out of it. You said reliability and battery life, so based on that I would suggest an iPhone. If you want a bit more freedom and the ability to fully customise your phone then go for the s7.

I have an S7, always had Samsung phones. Had Apple products before but just prefer Android. S7 battery is good, depenss what you have running and hownoften you use it. I can go the whole day on one charge and general use.

No the galaxy note 7 has been recalled. I wouldn't buy a normal one though purely because of the issues with the note.

Ultimately at the end of the day it's your phone and you're the one who'll be using it so our opinions really shouldn't matter. Like others have said it's what you want out of it and personal preference. Me personally would go for the iPhone just because iOS is what I'm used to and what I prefer. They're however both very capable phones and I've had both Samsung's and iPhone's and enjoyed using both of them. If you're after simplicity I'd go iPhone if you're looking for something which you can really customize then Samsung.
