Hi,

Don't suppose anyone has travelled through Australia in a Campervan? Or done something similar to this?

Sounds like a pretty good idea, however avoid driving anywhere at night time at all because of the wildlife, especially the nullarbor. Also worth noting the experience on the North half of the country will be COMPLETELY different to the southern half, its a completely different climate.

Do it man. No idea how far you plan on travelling but a lot of people seem to do the east coast, travel from/to Cairns which is party hostel galore.

We are pretty good with campgrounds and the such, check out WikiCamps (it's a tad expensive, but maybe there's an apk/ipa floating around ;)) for user reviews on campgrounds.
