Cabinet appointments are being made as we speak with MPs entering Number 10.

David Davis MP and Boris Johnson MP currently being invited into Number 10 delights me. Especially Davis.
It'll be interesting over the next hour to find out what brief they'll be handed.
Thoughts?

Inseriousity.

Osborne "resigned" because May didn't want him in her Cabinet. Now all we need is Matt Hancock, the arselicker who has no thoughts of his own, to join him and I'll be pleased with whoever's in the cabinet.

Boris Johnson as Foreign & Commonwealth Secretary is excellent news as is Liam Fox as International Trade Secretary.
But here's my favourite appointment to a brand new Ministry with my favourite Conservative - if not top - Member of Parliament. :D

Notice how the thee government departments which are 'outwards' facing are lead by Leavers? Excellent.
Early days but I am already liking this government and I feel reassured that we're not going to be given a rotten post-EU deal.

I have to keep pinching myself that it's real. A Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union. Cabinet role. Headed by David Davis MP.
My wildest dreams have all come true <3

The only problem I can see with that is they might work slower to keep the job :P but oh well good news in general:

BBC:
Jeremy Hunt is now expected to stay in his post at the Department of Health. There had been reports earlier that he would be moved or leaving cabinet.
Oh no, guess we'll wait for confirmation.

It's great to see so many women holding top jobs but I do hope they're not just token appointments! I always question with cabinet appointments how people with little experience in the sector(s) they cover - Greening and Leadsom are two examples I've thought of - can really run that section of government effectively?
Someone feel free to explain because it could just be naivety on my part.

I mean in more high-profile jobs (especially with justice sec, and another woman taking over home and education posts)

Leadsom sounds like a nutcase who should not be in government, though I guess that's true for most of them.
