I'm sure many of you work in a customer service type role, such as a supermarket or in a cafe. What is your best story of dealings with a customer good or bad? This happened to me yesterday while working in the cafe:

I had a posh lady in work yesterday, I call her Mac and cheese lady (as she ordered Mac and cheese). First she was disgusted by the fact she had to use a mug instead of a cup and saucer for her tea and demanded to have a cup and saucer instead. She then went up to me and was like there's no knifes, fair enough. Got a clean one out of the dishwasher and dried it. She then while I was cleaning and drying the cutlery, tapped the glass above me with her knife and accused me of giving her a unclean knife that was lying next to the knife tub which was totally untrue. It completely buckled me that she tapped the glass like I was her waiter.

UGH SO MANY FROM ASHFORD CASTLE :'(

So one day John C Reilly was on the estate doing the falconry and he stayed in the castle. Thing about Ashford Castle was that everyone who arrived, they got a complimentary drink of their choice and it was my job to bring it to them. We were talking about the estate and he said the falconry was amazing so I couldn't resist going "Yeah, there's so much space for activities here" and he laughed and gave me a tip and we both went about our day. It. Was. Fantastic.

If none of you get the reference:
