I found an "inspiring" thread on Imgur just now and this image really got me thinking!!

I'm trying to think of physical thing rather than more personality/mental things to answer with, so mine would be:

1) Start conversations with people!! Sounds silly but I was absolutely not capable a year ago until around HxSS time!
2) Draw better on Illustrator, cartoons and stuff

What about you?

Mine would be more specialised stuff in IT rather than generic stuff in my life I think..

Drive on the motorway! :D

Although I guess in reality I WAS able to drive on the motorway a year ago (I have been able to since I passed my test when I was 17) however I was always too scared until September last year! :P

So this time last year I was still a motorway virgin xD Now I am a motorway lover and ITS MY FAVOURITE TYPE OF ROAD WOO

Same as Martin really, I've gained enough road confidence to venture a bit further which has enabled me to drive to and from Wales on weekends.

Use a touchscreen lol

And idk there are some confidence issues that I've got a lot better with due to the support of a certain couple of people who I didn't have in my life before

Drive haha

Apart from that idk I guess this time one year ago if someone asked me what I wanted to do in life I couldn't answer them, but now I'm on a clear path and I can say yep I'm wanting to do this and I'm working towards it

go to shops or a pub or busy places without a coat on. Sounds stupid but i dunno if any social anxiety type ppl can relate with how hard it is to go coatless when entering a crowded place

Yesssss except I couldn't have my coat on, I'd have to have it folded over my arm and if I sat down it HAD to be on my legs lol. I couldn't explain it to someone who didn't already understand tbh it's so weird but it was such an important thing at the time.

Hard to think of anything that isn't just slight improvements on things I could already do.
I suppose after being forced to use the phone a good deal over the past year I don't hate it so much and just get on with it. Not so much I couldn't do it though, but more if I had to make a call then I had to mentally prepare for 5-10 minutes as I bloody hate them.
Also I suppose I don't cling on to the past (in "good" and "bad" ways) so much now? I don't know if that counts but it seems more in line with the thread as a whole than not hating to phone people as much.
