Two men armed with knives took several people hostage in a church in a town in France's northern Normandy region on Tuesday, a police source said.

The source said between four and six people were being held by the assailants in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray.

According to Sky News one of the men had previously tried to get to Syria to join ISIS but wasn't allowed... but was still allowed to walk the streets and all, yep, well done.

Also ISIS claimed responsibility for this attack and another I think?
