how tired does your job make you

even though i'm only part time and shifts last like 6hrs max my job is sooooo exhausting which is a reason why i'm looking to change by end of summer. like you'd think i have rest of day free after a shift but truth is i'm too tired to do much at all after it. when i was full time in an office job i had loads of energy

I do 7 hours a day Monday - Friday but I find that tiring enough to be honest. It's probably staring at a screen all day that does it and the walking to and from work.

Inseriousity.

Same as Chris. It's not so much the job that's tiring. It's just an office job staring at a screen all day. I have to get up at quarter past 5 and by thursday I just want to crawl up and stay in bed cos I'm so tired. Can't complain though, people do a lot more exhausting jobs (and for longer shifts) than I do.

What do you do, dan?

7 hours Mon-Fri - I'm tired usually because I don't go to sleep until gone midnight cos I'm up doing Habbox stuff and worrying & stressing, if I went to bed at a decent time I'd probably be fine!!! I'm usually ok actually at work though, it's just on the train/when I get home :(

I used to do 20 hours over 3 days in the clothing dept of sainsburys and that made me tired after cos I was stood up the whole time. So not mentally tired, just physically with my poor feet rip
Gonna have to get used to it for my career tho :l

well im anaemic so before my pills i was constantly tired and napping everyday thinking i was overworked and considering cutting my hours. now i think it just depends on my shift. i can do a 9 hour shift with one person and be fine but today, i was only on a 6.5 hour shift but the client is very talkative, repetitive and demanding of your time and youre on the go the whole time doing housework for them so yeah im completely exhausted right now lol.

some weeks i get really early finishes and nice easy shifts then the next am doing 4 shifts from hell in a row lol. but i prefer to do long shifts and less days. like ive done 13 hour shifts one day then 2.5 the next! love it.

Work 37 hours

Used to work 50 hours when I first started full time

Used to work 48 hours in 4 days when I first started work

I'm kind of used to it - it still makes me tired but I just.. carry on lol
