If you're like me and missing the Grunge masters, Soundgarden, and are fairly dissapointed with Audioslave, I've found a pretty good band you may be interested in. They're just like Soundgarden except the guitar is slightly better Imo. The band's called Forty Deuce. The frontman/guitarist is ex-Poison (Similar to Motley Crue) band-member: Ritchie Kotzen. He's got a superb voice and is an amazing guitarist, not as good as Slash or Frusciante though I don't think.

The band were inspired by 'Appetite for Destruction' by GnR in 1986 and have tryed to create a similar album here. It's not been out long, infact, I'm not sure if it's even out; I just read a review on them and they sounded pretty good. So I downloaded some of their tracks (Legally, of course ) and was well impressed. If you actually wanna bother, try Oh My God (I've ****ed up again) or Stand Up. Any Soundgarden fan will not be unimpressed.

Ill check them out. I love soundgarden, black hole sun is probably one of the best songs of the 90's, and on one of the best albums in the 90's, but im not dissappointed with audioslave. Not as good as soundgarden, but certainly not bad.

Audioslave are a more toned down group Imo. The sort of rock music you'd hear on the radio in the day or see in the charts nowadays. You just wouldn't of heard Soundgarden in the charts 'cause they didn't create that sorta' music if you get me. Don't get me wrong, Audioslave are a great band, but they're not what I expected.

Although, Black hole sun is an awesome song, I personally think Jesus Christ Pose or Come As You Are by Nirvana gets the #1 of the 90's. And I think Pearl Jam's Ten was the best album of the 90', closely followed by Superunknown by you know who.

I said ONE of the best. Come as you are is my favorite song of all time :D A little underrated I think, I guess because when it came out, everyone was focused on SLTS. I superunknown, even though I dont have it :P Ive listened to it a million times when I borrowed it though.
