Do you have penpals?
If you do, where are they from?

I used to have penpals when i was more free when i was younger, and i had penpals from Malaysia, UK, Australia,
Korea & Paris. We used to send over our own currencies to each other, and sometimes it involved a little trinket
of that particular country and we had been penpals for almost 3 years until i started college and we just were
not as close as before. We wrote a lot, i've got envelopes with pretty handwriting and i love rereading them
just to remind me of the memories a while back.

I've never had a penpal:O but it seems like a pretty interesting thing to do tbh

there was a topic in year 5 in MFL where you needed one and I had one from france he was really good at art and used to send me cute drawings of me and him in a park!

my drawings were probably gross but he was so sweet, only send a few though :( bless him i forget his name

in primary we had penpals in a school in America and we used to do class video calls and then write to each other

i used to have an italian pen pal when i was younger and my teacher would translate the letters for me! v cute

I met a girl on holiday in Majorca when I was 6 and we exchanged addresses before we went home and wrote for years. She even came up to meet us again a few years later with her family (she only lived in Cardiff) and my brother started dating her sister which was really weird. Then when they broke up she didn't wanna write to me anymore :( it was so sad

I used to want one when I was little because my sister had one but I don't think I ever did in the end, and it's pretty much been made obsolete with the internet now I guess

Did you do Penpals while in school? I remember doing Penpals in grade six and I actually kept in touch with them for almost ten years and then the letters sadly stopped coming.
Does anyone still keep in contact with theirs?
