Here's another fruitless attempt to prove to FlyingJesus that Bergen Belsen wasn't a death sentence. Not only can this girl's death not be proven, the only 2 people who knew anything about her death aren't even believable. It is absolutely preposterous to claim that Anne Frank succumbed to Typhus at Belsen. Typhus was spreading easily at Auschwitz Birkenau during the period she was interned there. We're aware that lice carried a multitude of diseases during World War II, and as such, Anne Frank contracted scabies. OK, we can assert that she was frail enough to get a minor disease that's easily treatable with medical care, fair enough. That doesn't support how she could have gotten typhus from the same breed of insect at a completely different camp. How could Irma Menkel see Anne Frank die and the claim she later came across her corpse in the mass grave? Wouldn't she have put it there? Why couldn't Janny Brandes remember the location of the grave, even though she remembered so clearly that she wrapped Anne and Margot's bodies in white sheets? Where did Margot's diary go after the war? Let's face it: Unless you can prove she's dead, she's not. Photographic comparison is a wonderful thing - notice how similar these 2 are? ;)

You're right, an emaciated young girl whose entire family had died couldn't possibly have contracted a disease that was rampant in the camp and she absolutely must be one of the 4% of those deported from Holland that survived. She is now a healthy tank of a woman at 88 years old whose identity has never been discovered by anyone. It all makes perfect sense now, all because of a photo of a healthy young woman with a full head of hair taken at a time when Anne Frank would have been half starved and bald. Never mind that if she was trying to get away unnoticed for some reason she wouldn't have stopped for a selfie...

You can't PROVE that most people in all of history have died, but I'm fairly certain they did.

You're completely missing the part where she met with Hanneli Goslar at the fence each night, who was giving her bread for her and Margot to survive. Bergen Belsen was not one of the slave labor camps where people were being worked to death either, so the only way those corpses could have gotten so thin in the first place was if they got typhus. What is known is that Anne Frank was denied transport to a completely different camp from Birkenau, because she got scabies from...lice. What is it that made her dodge the bullet there but get hit later? Good & bad luck? Because that is a pretty damn high chance considering Auschwitz had it bad enough that pesticide was used to stop a widespread epidemic.

She would have been bald in March/April? Please tell me you're joking, because it's already known that everyone got a haircut at Birkenau, but the women weren't shaved bald, just short. This happened to Anne on September 5th, 1945. By the time Bergen Belsen was liberated, that would have been nearly 7 and 1/2 months. Bald theory=RIP. You seem to be implying also that people don't ever lay low - it's not entirely unbelievable that she'd want to stay away from the war after it settled. But, Anne would have known that Otto survived after Belsen's liberation. Even so, she had a childhood friend and 2 family friends who were safe at home, whom she cared about all. You're going to joke about the girl in the photo taking a selfie? LOL! Her arms are down and by her sides - somebody took that photo other than her.

Sure, let's just believe that Holocaust survivors like Elie Wiesel and Irene Zisblatt weren't healthy at old age, despite not being ill.

Who did what, exactly? The idea is that Anne was trying to help the Dutch Underground after Belsen's liberation, which was mid April. If it took them 2 days to go from Amsterdam to Poland, it would have been a day or less for Anne Frank to return home. This timeline is possible.

No they do not. The girl on the right has a much more "revealing" smile. Eyebrows are different. Girl on the rights face is considerably wider.

Bergen Belsen was not one of the slave labor camps where people were being worked to death either, so the only way those corpses could have gotten so thin in the first place was if they got typhus.

No, those corpses - people - got like that through forced starvation and disease via being kept in conditions worse than animals.

These conditions were brought on by the Allies bombing the railways to the camps. That meant all the food and pesticide for killing lice was gone.

No not at all. Bergen Belsen was a dirty, swampy place to begin with. Not denying people wouldn't ​get sick there. The National Socialists only gave the Jews minimal food needed to survive. It wasn't a restaurant up there.

Thousand were dropping dead towards the end of the war, something mainstream historians don't even deny. We're actually going back to the post war period where every corpse found was assumed to have been a gassing victim.

The only similarity is that they have dark eyes and thick hair. Her head was shaved at Auschwitz just a year earlier and you also mention yourself that Anne would have whatever hair had grown back cut down in september of 1945, so for that girl on the right to be her (again in 1945) she'd have to have incredibly fast growing hair, far more so than anyone in the entire history of the world let alone a half-starved prisoner. *REMOVED*

Second, I'm not a photographic forensic expert, nor did I ever claim I was - so when it was pointed out that specific features were different, I dropped it. Even so, that girl had far shorter hair than Anne did 3 years prior. I don't think it's impossible for someone's hair to grow back in nearly 8 months of time, especially since different people have different growth rates. I also didn't state that Anne would've been well fed either, just that she would have had enough to survive. Second, not everyone who got typhus at Bergen Belsen fell gravely ill. Several people around Anne's age photographed at liberation had as minor symptoms as a rash on their faces, but otherwise looked healthy. The latest date historians speculate Anne Frank died is March 28th, 1945. Belsen was liberated roughly 2 weeks later. The only person who came out saying she died was Irma Sonnenberg Menkel, who left a gap in her story from seeing her die in her arms to later seeing her corpse in a mass grave that hasn't even been pinpointed yet. Fact is, MULTIPLE people saw Margot die. Either everyone else was gone from that bunk, or she just didn't die - more people would have noticed. Anne could have survived another 2 weeks, then the Red Cross would have been treating and feeding the released prisoners. Saying somebody didn't die is not hate speech, especially considering I have high respect for her as a person. So please don't call me disgustingly offensive when you've went as far as to troll me in the past and call me a vile creature. Show me a single post where I've mentioned hating Jews, because I've already mentioned my own uncle is Jewish. Saying I'm dangerous is disgustingly offensive.

This wasn't actually verified though. The people involved only knew of this guy's grandfather. There were only 3 people to see the grave, and none of them have verified its location since.

Yes, I just feel that some content is just not appropriate for what the intended audience of this forum is, even though it's not really got that audience, and some of the things being said in this topic come into that category.
