"Oil pulling, also known as "kavala" or "gundusha," is an ancient Ayurvedic dental technique that involves swishing a tablespoon of oil in your mouth on an empty stomach for around 20 minutes. This action supposedly draws out toxins in your body, primarily to improve oral health but also to improve your overall health."

Has anyone tired Oil Pulling before, how did it go and did you notice any difference; if you did it over a long period of time?

I've tried it a few times but I just cant cope with the taste & texture of coconut oil in my mouth. I may give it a try again soon for about a month & see if there is a difference. There is a brand called Coco White that do flavored sachets but they cost a bit & natural coconut Oil is much better to use.

I don't like coconut and I tried coconut oil pulling for 12 minutes. Was gagging after and never did it again. Kudos to anyone that does it and gets results.

Just sounds like mad alternative medicine to me. Cannot see a single reason why it would make your teeth whiter or hormonal imbalances, etc.

0:42 shows how it whitened his teeth. I've gargled coconut oil before when I had a sore throat and it helped soothe it. Haven't used it constantly before so not sure about the rest :) There will some benefits & negatives to it though
