i dont have chores i just optionally help my mum out, like im not forced to but ill clean kitchen and make like everyones dinner bc her and my dad are busy
i clean my own room and my own mess and i always organise everything bc i enjoy it and everyone is pretty much cleans up after themselves too
then my mum will also pay someone to clean the house every week or two week for a few hours so not many chores

how much does she charge for her cleaner? i was thinking of getting one for mb one day every 2 weeks to do ironing and things like that and do a proper good clean so it's easier to stay on top of as its difficult because me and my partner both work long shifts.

its not so much of a cleaner its just people she knows who want to earn money and she usually gives them like £30
we use to have a woman who use to iron our clothes!! there so useful but now we just iron are own like me and my siblings bc were not younger any more so we can do things ourselves
its a big relief for my mum tho if cleaning is a stress u should consider it

I'm in charge of keeping the whole downstairs spotless and I do my own room and washing.
Don't mind doing it either
I don't think I could ever pay for a cleaner when it's so easy to do it yourself (unless obv u have ridiculously long working hours) and also I'd be so paranoid about stuff being taken hahah

I basically have to monitor the bins as nobody in my house seems to know what to recycle and what not to recycle, and what recycling goes in green bins and which needs to be taken to a special bin elsewhere.
I only really tend to clean down what I use as I use it. I don't see why I should be cleaning up a bunch of mess which is quite clearly someone's mess (which I sort of do with the bins already I guess, but that's so the bins actually get bloody collected and don't fill up too quickly).
I also keep meaning to clean the bathroom/toilets too as I don't think they've been touched since being here which is disgusting.
I don't sound like I do a lot but I probably do the second most out of five.

its hard living with other students though tom. when i did i just gave up (i think we all did really) so our flat was a complete shit hole... but now we all live by ourselves we all seem to take pride in our flats and they're usually always clean

I dont have chores as such but if something needs cleaning I'll gladly clean it. I do my own washing too.
when i lived at home i just had to empty the dishwasher. that wasn't even a chore tbh since i just did that out of habit and was never asked to do it. i currently live alone so i have to do everything
