Well today, we live in a time full of technology. People spend all their time on laptops, iPads and phones. Books are 'out of date' and children of this generation - like me! often hate to read.
Me im different, i love it. So what do you think?
Do you like reading?
Is it boring to you?
Is it informing, or do you prefer fiction?
So many questions but i want to know what type you like to read.
Me, i love apocalyptic/horror type stories.
For example at the moment, i am truly obsessed with 'The Enemy' series by Charlie Higson - Author of the young Bond series. Its i a very moving book, with lots of sad and scary scenes. A must read for zombie book lovers!
Is reading for geeks? Post your thoughts below!

Fiction!! I used to read exclusively romance books but I'm picking up more about mental health and stuff now which is interesting! I mostly judge books by their covers which is terrible but thats genuinely how I pick, if they have an interesting cover and a good blurb!

I used to be such a book nerd when I was younger but I kinda started to find it boring after a while. If had to choose a genre that I'd read then I'd choose detective crime books. I love those mystery type of books. Very good read :)
mostly sci-fi, fantasy and crime. i stopped reading for about two years since i was working so much i never had the time but getting back into it now

I'd like reading powerful books about improving life itself. I'm planning to read " Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki.

I like History Books. The last book I've read was "100 Deaths for famous Persons". It's Awesome.

Yeah i am gonna keep a eye out!! :)
I often read to learn something new as opposed to for entertainment, so I love reading biographies, self-help books, travel narratives and non-fiction books (on lots of different topics such as philosophy, behavioural psychology, natural history, social science, and environmental science). I do read fiction occasionally though!

I've actually been looking for some biographies to read. Can you recommend any that are interesting? :)

Recently read a memoir called When Breath Becomes Air, you may have heard of it since it's quite popular. It's by Paul Kalanithi and unfortunately was posthumously released. He was a neurosurgeon facing terminal lung cancer - he wrote about his life, his family, mortality and what it means to live a meaningful life. It's heartbreaking but also inspiring, definitely one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. Good one to get into especially at the start of a new year :)

I have to say that I wasn't a "real reader" until a few months ago (i have a passion for comic books and every kind of picture-book though lol) so it's complicated to sort a favorite genre
but well, fantasy books are nice, specially The Lord of the Rings!
I love those "fictional history" books too, like Mutiny on the Bounty and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas!! ^-^

I love reading, like any genre really apart from non fiction. There's only a couple of non fiction books I've been able to get into, I just struggle with them. My faves are young adult/new adult and fantasy though :)

I like Historical Romance with or without Adventure. I also like young adult books and even some pre-teen books.
I like to write and draw cartoons so when I see and read a Children's chapter book, preteen or young adult book and some manga it give me ideas of writing and drawing my own.
I also like spiritual and religious books. And comic strips and grahic novels: D
