Christmas Light Switch On

My town has their Christmas switch on on Saturday... But they already have them on? What's the point LMAO.

So I want to know when your towns Christmas light switch on is for some reason :D. Have they already put them on and still have a switch on?

towns was Friday,and swanseas was the thursday before

they have a couple stalls a parade then santa turns them on
we went last yr it was crap

Had ones in town turned on last week then we have ones in the village on the 3rd which i hope goes better than last year when they came on for a sec then bam all went off. Then santa comes when the lights come on and everyone follows him

On Sunday I think. Dont know why they would choose Sunday but hey-ho.
