So I passed my test last Monday and I am picking up my car on Monday. Does anyone have any tips or stories about driving alone for the first time. I'm a little bit nervous but excited at the same time I think that's normal!

Depends really how you're feeling. I know the first time I drove alone was incredible because I could sit back, not check as many mirrors, put my music on and enjoy myself, but then again I picked driving up very quickly and passed within 4 months so it might be different for you. If not, don't do this, and just take your time, relax yourself, maybe decide on a route you know VERY WELL and drive it and see how you feel - driving alone is a lot of freedom first time but just remember that no ones going to brake for you anymore and you're the only one that will hold your bite point!

Short, comfortable distance. I was bloody terrified but got over it very fast. Now it's relaxing and I love to drive alone :) good luck!

I hate driving with others, just learn to be alone and you'll be a great driver!

Go double the speed limit then you'll get it done quicker

It's alright. I remember my first time of driving alone. I just was driving than BOOOOOOOOOOM!!! A tree was there but nothing
dangerous really happened because as a noob I was driving with a speed of about 5-10km/h
