Who here has had an eye infection of some kind? They're pretty common but I'm looking for tips init

I had conjunctivitis a couple years ago, that was horrible but apparently I now have a Stye and it's SO ITCHY and bruised :(

anyone had one?? I need tips on things to do and need to STOP ITCHING cos it's gonna be so bad!! :( :(

I used to be realllllllly allergic to animal hair when I was younger, not so bad now but yeah last proper bad reaction was when I was like 13 or 14 and went to see my friend's guinea pig and my eye literally like exploded it turned entirely to jelly and was protruding from my face, beautiful

yeee I always get lil styes whenever I wear makeup on my eyes. Worst it's ever been is when I couldnt open my eye at all lool.

I just went to boots nd got some over the counter eye drops for an eyelid infection, went away in two days

I had a stye on my eye just the other day I decided to google it and it said to get a warm towel and put it on there for up to 5 - 10 min, it made it a lot less itchy for me personally. Unless you've already done that?

i havent had one but my bf has a stye for ages and it didnt go even with the stuff from boots so he went docs
they jus said ure supposed to put a hot compress on it everyday n itll get smaller n smaller (which it did)
and use the stuff from boots that cerys said if u havent

i never had eye issues tho i good!

Tbh I think mine and fjs advice was equally as valuable, especially the eye jelly explosion part nd head drilling

I had conjunctivitis earlier in the year and I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe my reaction wasn't as bad as yours.

I had this with conjunctivitis, it feels like 'sleep' but 'sleep' isnt sticky, conjunctivitis is. Proper nasty!!!!

my stye is completely gone now I can wear makeup again thank god xxxx
