Cant be unbanned after 6 months?

My account got banned quite a while ago so i quit habbo, i wanted to come back and try to send in a ban appeal but it seems they dont allow bans from 6 month ago to be appealed?
Anyone else had this as ive not seen it before?

Yeah, most bans are unable to be appealed after 6 months, but it's still not quite as impossible as everybody may think. It's possible to be unbanned after 6 months, just rare.

the reason why is data protection only allows them to store old data about you for 6 months, therefore they dont have the information to consider an appeal.

holding data about why a certain username was banned doesnt fall under data protection

its just another method of money grabbing habbo have so u are forced to make a new acc and buy stuff

I really hate the way they deal with bans! I got hacked an didn't even know about it tried to long in again, and habbo CS mostly said

it's so frustrating isnt it! :( not fair at all

Wow. This is news to me, it really sucks that you cant get your account back! Id probably still try as people said its not impossible. I know quite a few people who have got their accounts back after years!

6 months is a bit short for them to just write off accounts!!!!
Maybe 12 months at least?!?!?!

I had a nightmare with my account, it was stolen and then sold on a few times and they bought credits. habbo finally verified me, removed the safety questions, then a couple days later a random girl commented on teh ticket saying the info i provided does not match so we cant help you and now my account is banned for scamming? I've tried to verify ownership but because its been passed around so much its hard to prove. they even asked for my area, district etc which i gave them and they say it's incorrect.. although i've verified with all same info before. so now i'm stuck banned and they just close my ticket instantanously.

I'm not sure how true that is anymore as data protection is changing dramatically under the GDPR (https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/data-protection-reform/overview-of-the-gdpr/). I've yet to read it.

i've had 2 accounts taken, never got them back even when asking habbo.
very annoying lol
