Probably fine, there's lit no reason to pay £800 for an iPhone other than brand loyalty which gains the consumer nothing. If you can deal with not being respected by the vegan gluten-free kids wearing beanies then you're gonna be fine with a phone that does all the same things for a fraction of the price

i think this, i refuse to spend thousands on phone contracts now when i can get pretty much the same for so much less and also htc are a chinese company and many others which are now well respected

It doesn't matter if it's Chinese or not really. It's more the fact of the build quality and what they install on the phone. I haven't looked at the device he has linked but there is a good chance it'll be fine.

Sometimes you just can't go the cheapest way - Especially with stuff like chargers. There is a well known fact that those cheap made USB chargers will most likely set on fire compared to ones that a bit more expensive and have a respected brand behind them.

The above can also happen to respected brands as it did with Samsung. But at least you know who you are dealing with.

Anyway, enjoy your phone and I'm sure you have done your research but always look at reviews, look at videos and see what others are saying. Then you'll have a rough idea on what you are getting.

My very first phone was a chinese made one.
I never really formed a view on it as the first day of owning it i dropped it down the toilet and it broke lol

I own an ASUS ZenFone Max

It is the best phone I've ever bought. The battery life is amazing it can last 3 days with everything turned on.

Its also dual sim.

The only problem is the GPS is really bad but I don't use it so it doesn't bother me.

I've had this three days now and only had one charge and its still going.. Battery life is amazing! Also 13mp back camera is amazing and 8mp front selfie camera is amazing, makes me wonder why I ever used to pay so much just for a name, oh and 5.5 inch screen is good too just a bit difficult to get used to at first

Couple of quick questions as my sister asked about a cheap smartphone and well I'm stuck on ideas so:

1. What version of Android is it running?
2. Can you install your regular apps without problems like Snapchat and things like that. I'm asking this as some of the cheaper cheaper Android phones have problems installing decent apps and aren't compatible.

Oh and can you see if Pokemon Go can be installed on it? LOL

My current phone is 5.5 inch and it was weird at first but I love it now. The size means I can actually use it instead of my laptop for a lot of things where I couldn't with my last one bc it was too difficult to see if I had the keyboard up n stuff.

Huawei phones are actually pretty good. I don't have one but my friend uses one. She said she's never had any problems and I've tested it myself too.
