Hello :)

If you want to challenge yourself this year to read more books (or start reading at all) - you should consider creating an account on Goodreads and pledging to read X number of books.

I've pledged 100 for this year, which is about 1 every 3 days. Thankfully I can read quite quickly and I prefer plays so it shouldn't be too difficult to get through :P

But yeah I hope you all give it a go!

I won't take part because I don't have a lot of time this year and only read for fun. This is one of the first times in my life I can just read when I want so I'm not going to make myself now!!

But ye also the only time I tend to read is in bed before I go to sleep but these days if I've had work that day my head hits the pillow and I'm gone.

I've read 2 books so far (they are plays though, so only ~100 pages) and I am starting a third today (an actual novel).

Whenever I read a book or watch a film I always have a very difficult time remembering character names, but I can remember the plot and so on quite well.

The more I can remember, the more enjoyable a book it was :)

SAME! Do you want an excellent exercise for this? Read The Hobbit if you haven't
man, think about an adventure with +10 simultaneous RPG characters walking and chatting together! you'll force yourself to memorize their names and you'll feel mentally healthy afterwards
