does anyone have some kind of alcohol intolerance or a reaction to something in alcohol?
I can drink alcohol usually but sometimes I get a really bad red rash EVERYWHERE and my asthma goes completely crazy. It's weird because most of the time I'm okay but other times i just turn into a tomato and go wheezey as hell. I read into it and heard that sulphite allergy can cause it. It's funny though cos I can drink sulphite containing wine/beer etc but if i eat a certain food i have this reaction

also any scars turn as bright as the sun

Ouch! Is it painful or itchy? :(
The only thing I've noticed is that when I first start drinking (usually cider), I get a red patch under my eye, but it usually fades quite quick and I'm fine once I've drank some more- weird!

yeah i think it's to do with sulphites
mine doesn't get that bad holy shit i wouldn't keep drinking if it did!
for me i get a rash liek this

(not me)
and its mostly vodka that makes me unable to breathe n a numb mouth
i get the rash like after my 3rd drink after that it goes away
but i get the same rash when im nervous or have eaten hot or spicy foods, usually only my chest but when im drinking alcohol it goes all over my body except my face
urs looks like a complete reaction

No I tend to be fine with alcohol, I remember my ex used to get really red and looked like he couldn't breathe when he drank certain drinks (I think he can drink them now, I'm not sure I haven't spoken to him in years).

My mum gets patchy on her chest if she mixes drinks, just a rash if she doesn't mix.
My chest gets really really tight a lot of the time. I did end up in a&e once because I couldn't breathe at all, but I think it's a common thing to have.
Maybe monitor if it's certain drinks that do it to you

Omg that looks awful I hope it doesn't hurt or anything!!!
As far as I know I don't get any rashes or anything like that but the last two times I've had more than two pints I've felt so ridiculously ill and been sick which is crazy! Never happened to me before so I dunno why I'm suddenly dying from such a little amount now hahah

You may have super powers and you have not even realized it yet
What curious reactions
When I drink a little beyond the "recommended" dose, my line of thinking changes a little
my level of creativity rises to an oddly high level (I need to note down some ideas I have during this process)
I feel an uncontrollable urge to sing and laugh, imagining random "funny" situations involving my friends and family
not too serious tho

I sweat when I drink, but only if it's a considerable amount.

ma liver can't take anymoreeee
anyway I'm okay if i just have a drink but sometimes when i eat certain foods it happens so I'm guessing when I drink beer etc it's not enough to cause the reaction but if i consume other foods which also contain sulphites then i get it
it itches a tiny bit but not allergy red rash type mega itching. It mainly just feels really warm on all the patches that are red so my face ends up feeling hot as hell
I guess it's a good way to stop drinking.. find out what food might trigger it then if i do drink then boooom bad times

It's possible it's not an allergy but just your body reacting to strong foods and drinks? So if you always find the same thing with spicy foods, extra fatty foods and alcohol it could react the same way IBS etc does to those things.

The only thing I notice is sometimes I can get a little shaky when I get really drunk, I mean my balance goes really shit but other than that it's all good.
