It's that time of year again where countries are busy selecting the acts they are going to send to Eurovision! After they won the contest last year, it is Ukraine's turn to host this year!

For those of you who aren't aware, the UK has it's selection show tonight, on BBC2 at 7:30pm The artists/songs that are in contest to represent the UK are:

Danyl Johnson - Light Up The World (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOQvr3oJyVU)
Holly Brewer - I Wish I Loved You More (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-M23lXWGvcA)
Lucie Jones - Never Give Up On You (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqyPx8Xa_YI)
Nate Simpson - What Are We Made Of (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zk6va4QwmlE)
Olivia Garcia - Freedom Hearts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttPS5UstsIA)
Salena Mastroianni - I Don't Wanna Fight (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXswKMg5V48)

Personally, my favourites are 'I wish I loved you More' and 'Freedom Hearts'. Just seem the most catchy to me!

I'll keep this thread updated over the next few months as and when interesting things happen!

Who would be your favourite to represent the UK at Eurovision? Are you excited about Eurovision this year? I'm hoping to go to the Eurovision party in London again this year which is amazing!

Why do we never have any good songs going in? The UK is full of musical talent (https://www.youtube.com/user/thecameron1223) and we just let the world laugh at us year by year as we send hasbeens and nobodies armed with a crap team of failed songwriters and then act like the only reason we don't win is because of the old empire. If we're gonna make a farce of it we should at least send in a hilarious song about how great Brexit is or something

The whole thing is all about politics which is one of the reasons everyone hates us. We should be sending in people who are more well known. We are so much talent in the UK.

After we gave the middle finger to Europe I highly expect us to do well at all; but at least Russia might give us some votes (might have to get Farage to give a call to Putin to arrange something :} ).

Not sure if I wanna watch this year considering how undeserving last year's winner is; the Ukraine entry was complete shit and they got votes out of pure sympathy.
