President Donald Trump, of the United States of America, appointed Judge Neil Gorsuch yesterday to a position that most judges dream of, SCOTUS. It was a difficult task to fill Justice Antonin Scalia's position after his sudden and unexpected death by many Americans - Senate vowed to block discussing Barack Obama's appointments until Donald Trump replaced him in office. And now, the job is finished.
Like Scalia, Gorsuch is a constitutionalist that believes that the constitution should be interpreted in its writing, exactly as it appears. His record shows that he stands up for liberty and absolute justice, and many Americans (based on my citizenship and ears) think that he will be a very nice pick.
“You’ve entrusted me with a most solemn assignment,” Gorsuch said.
