Hello Guys, Me again.
I am wondering today whether you prefer Console or PC, this idea come around when watching some of the Tech youtubers, and they couldn't prove that more people liked PC over console, and vice versa. I would like to know would you..
Build your own PC
Or
Buy a Console
I am looking forward to seeing some of the responses, so get commenting :D

I personally prefer PC, it's a fact that the graphics are better and I find it easier to play with friends/Skype.

Build. Consoles are very overpriced and you can get a lot more for the money by building.

You reckon you can build a pc better at gaming than a console for $250? No chance.

You are leaving out the customization and thousands of other things that you can do with a PC that a console can't do.
Browse with ease on a PC. A console? Takes a long time.
Edit the operating system on a PC. A console? Permanently on it. Now I don't doubt you could change it through the hard drive, but it's not an easy task.
A console has many limitations. PCs do not have many. And in terms of those limitations, the PC is cheaper, especially if you can get parts at a decent price.

It really depends what your after. I prefer computers myself as I'm used to using a keyboard and find a mouse far easier to use to look around. If you know how or know someone who can and you can afford it you can get a custom built pc. This is not possible with a console and the top range of computers will always be more powerful than a console.
The advantage of a console is generally everything works. Computers sadly suffer from compatibility issues and there's always the chance your computer doesn't have high enough specs to play specific games. With a console you can generally just buy the game and play knowing that in most situations you shouldn't have any issues.
Also steam always has good prices and good deals

This is very true and I understand where your coming from, but i guess once you have all the stuff required for a PC they are worth while :)

If you are looking at a budget pc that can run up to date games then you are looking at around £300-£400

Console, I like the controls and the ease of use.

I generally use PC/Laptop more because sometimes when I complete a game on console I get bored and I'm just done with it. With my laptop it's like you have so much more to actually do. I wouldn't say I'm a huge gamer though so that probably explains it!

I wrongly assumed that we were referring to the devices for gaming.
Otherwise it's like comparing the usage of glasses or a hearing aid..

Depends really. I mean for example I'm having big issues with fallout 3 right now because of lack of windows 10 support and I believe compatibility issues with my graphic card. The problem is older games and even games considered newish can often struggle with newer software and hardware.
Also 300 - 400 might sound a lot to people but graphics cards can be from 100 upwards just on their own and that's just for a basic one. Built in graphic cards aren't any good for new stuff. You can get basic dedicated cards but they will struggle with newer and future games

I have to go with PC! Can't play Habbo on consoles - as far as I know anyway!

The computer itself can cost around £300-£400, I can see what you are saying though, Graphics Cards can be cheap depending on which one you want. My system cost me around £500
Specs:
AMD A10 7850k 3.8GHz
8GB DDR3 1600MHz
MSI GTX 750ti 2GB
Not the most overkill PC ever but it can run games at higher frame rates than a console for that price

Definetly, I am not going to disagree with that, because this is true. Specs of a PC can vary on the parts that you want for the games that you want to play, or software that you want to run

The problem is you mentioned modern new games. For example I have a gtx 760. You can get them for around £100 now maybe slightly cheaper but it's an old card and as new games come out it will start to struggle. You can get cards cheap yes, but if you get them cheap, there's no guarantee that the newer games will work. It's one reason a lot of people prefer consoles - if you buy a game in a few years time for your console, you know that your console will support it.

You make a very good point.
In the end, PC will become more expensive with upgrades. But as long as games are produced for the specific console, anyone with said console can run it the same.

I'd go for a laptop/PC anyday. Not a big fan of consoles no matter what you're referring to.

Also sadly PC games today tend to be console ports which is annoying. Probably easier but I feel a lot of today's games don't really make the most of what PC's offer.
