We've had threads on this before but it's been on my mind a lot lately so i thought an updated poll would be cool to have!

I've been pretty much the same weight since I was about 16 - put on a bit when I discovered alcohol but preeetty much been constant for 6 or 7 years. BUT since I moved home just under a year ago, I've put on a stone and a half and half a stone of that has been since Christmas.

I'm really hating the way my body looks atm, I feel like my belly sticks out a bit and I feel pregnant. Also some of my skirts & dresses don't fit... I actually ripped one the other day breathing (literally).

The thing is though I don't have the time or energy to exercise... I try and eat healthily and cut out alcohol but bad food and wine makes me feel better mentally so it's a hard toss up.

The aim is to lose half a stone now for my target weight which I'll hopefully be able to maintain once I move with smaller portion sizes (thanks MUM lolol!!!!!) etc

So yeah. Are you happy with your weight or not?? Don't post numbers if you don't want!!

My weight is fine but I would love to be a bit more in shape. Like you, I don't have the time or energy to do exercise. I keep telling myself I'll start but it never happens.

nah, really not happy. since before christmas and after i piled on a lot of weight because i stopped my usual walking to uni and just kept eating! i've noticed since going back to uni again i dropped most of it off quite easily, but still a little bit more to go (not quite sure atm as my scales need a new battery!). started getting back into exercising on the days i dont attend uni or don't meet my daily exercise goal, BUT im so damaged! i literally cant do it anymore! i've gotten so unfit in such a short period of time!! once my neck and stomach stops aching i'll try again, even though i know i shouldn't be waiting 'til it stops and just keep pushing through :'(

I'm OKish with my weight, still not quite where I want to be but I do get sucked in to alcohol and other bad things from time to time which keeps me from reaching my target :P I think I got to just over 65kg around Christmas. Float around 62kg at the moment.

I'm neither happy or unhappy with mine like I'm happy chilling around 50kg but then at the same time I've noticed parts of me are getting chubbier like my thighs are getting porky and I'm getting lil chubby places which I HATE. (Lit doesn't make sense since my actual weight hasn't changed so I'm assuming I've lost muscle or something)
So ya I'd LOVE to get rid of this and go back to my old figure but without exercise that's gonna be difficult and u kno I'm not one to work out x

Im now classed as fat according to my BMI which is bad ive never been fat in life. Always been really active i mean litartly there was no stopping me i could run about all day as a kid and ive.
Ive also always loved food and ive never really had the best diet but ive been swimming competitively for 11 years now so the hours of swimming easily got rid of all the crap i was eating plus walking an 1 hour day to college. but i left my swim team in September and ever since thats when i started putting on weight...
I still with uni but i only do 3-4 hours week which is half of what i did before plus i now just have to walk down the road to the bus stop. But its noticeable now that ive gotten fatter and ive realised i cant eat as much as before now.

In september me and my mum are going on holiday so thats our motivation to stop eating too much and keep with the big weights in the gym

Totally happy with how my body looks, great metabolism is my best feature haha. However I'd love to be able to climb a hill (or my steep street) without getting puffed, so there's that.

I totally understand that. Though, I am happy with my body currently... I know I've been healthier, and I have been more active a few years back compared to now.
I've accepted that I have become limited in the activities I used to do but I still try to do stuff that allows for some exercise.
If you're motivated, and you keep encouraging yourself, you'll be able to do it. 😊

We feel you, sloths - maybe the fast metabolism is just a temporary condition since we're still young and beautiful? The only thing I know - and you'll probably agree - is that sometimes the fact of being unable of earning weight sucks too, like a ying-yang of the fat, hope you know what I mean hahah

No I'm not happy with my weight. I used to be 10 1/2, but with my desk job I've gone to over 15 stone. Back to about 14 1/2 but still far too much.

I don't actually know what I weigh but tbh i want to put weight on. No matter how much I eat I just never seem to put weight on lol, i guess some people might see that as a blessing though!

I do eat a lot (and its a pretty healthy balanced diet I'd say), just haven't really put weight on for years

I wanna be bigger as a matter of preference though not because I'm underweight or anything. I'd rather be my weight now than fat :P

Anyone that's seen my picture will know I'm quite big... I really don't like it, infact I hate it, starving myself for weeks to try and shift it... I only ended up having to go to the doctors for help... I still can't seem to get rid of it though... WHELP...

Starving yourself people think it's the best way to lose weight but it actually does more damage than good if I'm honest. It's much better to just cut down on unhealthier foods and doing more exercise. I've done it for 6 weeks and lost about 17 pounds in weight now and I feel so much more happier because the weight is coming off.

There has been a massive different from when I was younger tbh, so am I loosing it, just not as much and as quick as I would like to. I was young and stupid when I tried starving myself, I then got shouted at basically but a dietation and a doctor which gave me a wake up call... I eat but not as much as I used to, I'm limited to 1 meal a day, sometimes 2, depending on the day...

I think people should be eating at least 2 meals a day and just making sure they are watching their portion sizes and how active they are :P

whenever i actually tried to diet/exercise i'd give up so fast, (i never needed to lose weight im 55kg but it was more for health benefits).
and yeah i get what you mean i do it for the same purpose to get toned/abs etc. hoping to get into it during the summer.
